It is also possible to purchase a ticket in person at the turnstile before you enter the CBX. This unique service allows you to enter and exit Tijuana International Airport via San Diego, California. As a result of this convenience, the price of airfare is significantly reduced, allowing for cheap and easy travel to and from Puerto Escondido to the United States twice a week on direct flights. The duration of a direct flight from Puerto Escondido to Tijuana is 4 hours. Mexico City has recently opened a new airport, and depending on which airport you select, the city is only an hour to an hour and a half away via multiple daily flights from Puerto Escondido. Connected as it is to the outside world, Puerto Escondido has managed to remain hidden. There is still plenty of natural beauty in and around the town.
